Aylin's Woolgatherer

Aylin's Woolgatherer started on January 2nd, 1975 with the urging, encouragement and guidance
of a good friend who herself had a wonderful yarn store. At the time, my daugther was 3 1/2, and
I was most concerned with participating fully in her early development. Having my own business
sounded like a wonderful solution, and when the opportunity presented itself, there was only one
natural choice. My hobby/craft, my business, my daughter, and I...we all grew together into what
is now Aylin's Woolgatherer.

It continues to be possible with the most wonderful and talented staff that joined us. They are the
reason that Aylin's Woolgatherer is so professional and talented, yet sincere, friendly and helpful.
It's a lot of work, but all of us love every minute of it.

We hope to share our wonderful selection of high quality yarns, unique fibers, great selection of
books and patterns, implements and accessories, and most of all, our ideas and enthusiasm for the
knitting and crocheting corner of the fashion industry with all the other enthusiasts in far away
places. We hope that this Home Page will help achieve this goal. We will continue learning new
things along the way, and would appreciate your comments and suggestions any time.
